Valentine’s Day Picks From Anthropologie

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?

Do you decorate? Do you wear pink and red? I don’t go all out, but I will wear a red cap or pink scarf on the day. Pieces that can be used beyond Valentine’s Day are ideal. I have a blush velvet couch, so I’m sort of always ready for a Valentine party! Keep reading to see my selection of housewares and clothing that will work for Valentine’s and beyond.

I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day. I don’t know if it is from my mom’s influence. She loves hearts- heart print shirts, heart decor, heart shaped anything. I don’t always go all out with Valentine home decor or outfits, but I still gravitate toward red and pink to feel festive. Especially this year, any reminders of love are definitely welcome!

While perusing the Anthropologie website, I realized they had a ton of cute pink items. From housewares to clothes, there are blush pillows, rose gold accessories, pink heart print dresses. Even if I don’t buy anything, I always find inspiration for styling an outfit, draping a throw on a couch etc. Hope you find inspiration in the items I rounded up below!

I have blush, salmon, and some other pink tones around my house. For people who favor neutrals, blush is a good way to add color in a soft way. Of course accessories are an easy way to bring in color without committing to a huge investment piece.

I already have a pink dress in mind for our Valentine’s night in, but I couldn’t help but peek at Anthropologie’s dress selection. I love dresses. When I had my son I stopped wearing them as often, but I recently re-discovered how easy they can be. I love that all the dresses above can be layered over tights or leggings in cold months and then worn on their own as temps warm up. Depending where you are, you may already be in warm temps!

After browsing dresses on the site, I found cute sweaters, t-shirts and slippers that would make a comfy Valentine outfit. I’ve linked the items pictured above as well as some other things I found in my search. That “love” sweatshirt and “amore” t-short both look so soft and can be worn so many ways. Did you notice the pink socks paired with the clogs and striped sweater? The look is so quirky and fun. Leopard and pink are two of my favorite things and combined on a slipper is pretty dreamy. The slipper socks are by UGG and I had no idea that they made these! My friend bought the Freedom Moses sandals (bottom right) to match her little girl. How cute is that? They come in a ton of options too.

Thanks for reading! Hope you feel inspired to get a bit festive. Do you have any Valentine traditions? Do you dress up? Do you normally go out for a candle lit dinner or stay in for a cozy night? Let me know in the comments how you spend you Valentine’s.

  1. I love anything in a blush pink or a soft mauve 😊 Great round up! We don’t usually do anything exciting for Valentine’s Day but now I’m thinking maybe I should start!

    1. Thank you Jessie! Last year we did a dinner with friends at our house. I used some Trader Joe’s flowers in heart pots as centerpieces & then gave them to each couple to take home 🥰

  2. Marie … this post is a feast for the eyes. I’m a fan of Valentine’s Day and Anthropology is coming through in a big way. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration! xo

  3. So many pretty finds! I especially love the dresses and pink leopard slippers! I am not much of a Valetine decorator but I love to wear pink or red for the holiday. 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day!

    1. Thanks Kim! My bday is close to Valentine’s & growing up my mom would always buy me heart socks or pink & red clothes for gifts. I guess wearing pink or red has stuck with me over the years too. ❤ Happy Valentine’s Day!

  4. I love anything pink so this is perfect for me. I love shopping in February because there are so many beautiful pink things.
We usually get each other cards and candy for Valentine’s Day.

  5. Lots of great ideas! thanks for sharing! As a former florist, I was always exhausted by the end of the day on Valentine’s day! This year my husband is out of town for 2 months so unless he surprises me by coming home for the weekend it will be very un – Valentiney. I am decorating the house with a lot of hearts and some pinks and golds, though!

    1. Thanks Kim! Oh gosh I can only imagine how busy you were. What a fun, creative career. I guess you can have a day to pamper yourself & indulge in some treats while husband is away ❤
