Simple Fall Table Setting

Fall is such a busy time of year. School and work are back to the usual routines and before you know it, holidays have arrived. Keep reading to see the simple fall table setting I created to make entertaining a breeze.

Autumn Hued Linens

Table linens are a nice way to elevate your decor from everyday to holiday or dinner party. A pattern table cloth layered over a solid or a runner all on it’s own dress up your table.

Low Floral Arrangement

Keep your floral centerpiece small and low to prevent blocking out conversations and passing platters. As an alternate, a group of bud vases also form a pretty look that won’t be in the way. Or for a very long table do both to extand along the table.

Mix new and vintage

The amber glasses seen here are from Goodwill. They add a unique touch against the other new items on the table. Whether you have a complete vintage set of china plus antique embroidered table cloths, or all new everything, mixing a bit of old and new together looks collected and layered.

This simple base can be built upon too. For Thanksgiving you can add place cards, maybe scatter some acorns or pine cones along the middle of the table. Swapping out the plain white plates for an autumn theme plate is another way to kick up the festive look. Replacements always has great options for holiday plates.
