It’s the new year! Looking back at the previous year, I’m always surprised at how much I’ve forgot! As part of my reflection process, I took a look at your favorite blog posts. Let’s see if your faves made the top 10!

10. How to Install Mosaic Floor Tile Part 1
When renovating our house we wanted to bring back the 1920s charm that had been removed, covered or painted.
Unfortunately, before we could focus on the aesthetics we had to take care of things like asbestos, lead and the boring but important things like electrical and plumbing .
To save money we chose to do some of the work ourselves, including setting tile.
The hexagon shape tiles we chose definitely help to bring the vintage vibe we wanted.
9. How to Replace a Sash Cord in Windows
This topic does so well over on Pinterest! See the popular story pin HERE.
Is there a whole, big group of people with old windows in need of new sash cords? I wish I knew what the exact appeal of this post is. If you think of some ideas, let me know!

6. Make Ahead Stuffed Bell Peppers
This is an updated version of a recipe my grandma would make when I was a kid.

3. Easy DIY Wood Fireplace Mantle
This was one of the earliest projects we did after moving into our house.
I remember how excited we were to start digging in to the decorative part of the renovation. It was like seeing the light at the end of the complicated construction tunnel.
Since this post has been pretty popular each year, I wrote a follow up to share how the mantle is holding up.
2. Easy Peach Crisp Recipe
2021 was the year I started to add recipes here on the site. Still working out some formatting kinks, so I’m surprised this post ranked so high!
Maybe I shouldn’t be too surprised since peach crisp is pretty irresistible.
And now, without further ado, the number one blog post of 2021 from This Dear Casa!
